A number of definitions
have been added to ensure you understand the terminology that we
use with regards to the programme:
Account
Features: depending on the membership level selected
the Account Holder will receive a range of rewards, benefits,
discounts and deals including: discount, dining, theatre and show
tickets, family days out, travel and VIP services for those that
select the Prestige membership level; their membership also
includes a prepaid MasterCard® account and up to 4 additional
free cards;
Account
Holder: a
customer/reader/viewer/listener/member/supporter that has become a
Life Champion
Card Fourth
Line: the information appearing below the card holders
name; usually including the membership level and number;
Card
Tariff: there are two tariff types to choose from,
'Champions' or 'Advantage'. The “Champions” tariff adds
25pence to every purchase made with the card. The amount is
deducted from the card holder account balance and remitted to the
Chosen Cause. This value is eligible for Gift Aid and regulatory
statements are taken to be passed to the Chosen Cause.
The “Advantage” tariff, Life Champions makes a donation
of 0.25% of the value of the purchase to the chosen cause at no
extra cost to the card holder;
Chosen Cause
ID: this is the unique reference number given to all
Chosen Causes that are present in the LC system, including all
230,000 UK charities and schools;
Chosen Cause
Type: A Chosen Cause can be;an association, a brand owner,
a charity, a celebrity, membership organisation, a retailer,social
media group, a sports group or school
Featured Chosen
Cause: a Chosen Cause selected by Life Champions to
appear nationally and regionally in promotional material, print,
video, social media.
Interstitials: video overlays or “bumpers”
usually between 5 and 15 seconds long played before or after a
feature video.
LCTV: a branded Life Champions TV video
player controlled centrally by a video content network
Loading types
(for prepaid cards): Basic, Prestige, Privilege and
Ambassador Memberships include a prepaid card. This card: must be
loaded before purchases or withdrawals can be made. The card
account can be loaded in a number of ways. In person at variety of
locations including over 33,000 PayPoints and 14,000 Post Offices
™. You can load online via internet banking or using a debit of
credit card. Payment of wages, benefits or pension can be made
directly into the card account.
Membership
level: indicating the level of benefits the account
holder will receive: Basic Prestige
Programme name: the name
our Clients use to promote their branded version of the loyalty
programme; options include: “The [Client Name] Rewards Club”, or
“The [Client Name] Loyalty Club”
